An abandoned quarry was converted to a beautiful biodiversity park with support from companies in the industrial belt. A 2 acre pond was conserved and more than 2000 trees planted.
Invasive species was cleared in about 14 acres and restored with native flora. The area will be maintained for next 2 years to ensure invasive species does not grow again and planted flora survives .
